Now accepting applications for the fintech_devcon #JustDewitt scholarship
The vision of fintech_devcon, first-ever fintech developer conference, is to bring together like-minded developers and increase the voices heard throughout the financial technology space. We’re committed to improving access, participation, and engagement for all people, regardless of identity or background. We created the #JustDewitt scholarship to support this commitment and make the event accessible for even more developers. In partnership with MX Technologies, Inc., we’re excited to extend our scholarship to six individuals.
About #JustDewitt scholarship
The fintech_devcon scholarship is now the #JustDewitt scholarship — a tribute to a long-time friend of the conference and the co-founder and CTO of MX.
Brandon was a passionate developer who believed that we all have a moral imperative to use technology and our skills to improve mankind. Brandon lived with purpose and joy, inspiring us all to be better every day.
Who is eligible?
Anyone who belongs to an underrepresented community in technology and currently residing in the United States.
What does the scholarship provide?
- A complimentary ticket to fintech_devcon
- A lodging stipend at the Hyatt Regency for four nights
- Round-trip airfare
- Round-trip Uber vouchers to the airport and conference
How to apply
In order to remove bias from the application process, applicants will be selected using a randomized lottery system.
The deadline for applying is July 16, 2022. Scholarship recipients will be notified by July 23.
